རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕུར་པ་ Dorje Phurba
རྡོ་རྗེ་ཕུར་པ་ Dorje Phurba is one of the Eight Great Herukas (Kagyed) of Nyingma tradition. The wrathful heruka Dorje Phurba is the yidam deity who embodies the enlightened activity of all the buddhas and whose practice is famous for being the most powerful for removing obstacles, destroying the forces hostile to compassion and purifying the spiritual pollution so prevalent in this age.
This practice is renowned for its immense power and swiftness to cleanse negativities, pacify hostile forces and remove obstacles on the path to enlightenment, as well as worldly endeavors, which is so prevalent in this time of degeneration.
The Phurbe Tordhok puja invoked the wrathful activities of Vajrakilaya, which is traditionally performed on the final few days of the last month of the year to destroy, cleanse and pacify all the negative forces, demonic influences, undesirable circumstances, ill-luck, sicknesses, and obstacles before the beginning of New Year.
